This is a paper waste basket made of “White bamboo”.




The White bamboo is made from the Madake bamboo.
The Madake bamboo is then roasted, boiled, or otherwise heat-treated,
then dried in the sun to remove the oils and moisture from the bamboo 
and also to bleach its original green color, thus producing the White bamboo.


In fact, it is yellow in color, but in the world of Japanese bamboo crafts, this bamboo is called “White bamboo”.








Wide and narrow strips are alternately weaved into the vertical bone.


The rim is likewise made of White bamboo and fastened simply with brass nails.


This is the inside. The nails are folded tightly, but please be careful when touching the vicinity.










Depending on the condition of the material, some green color. 


Or mottled pattern may be visible as shown in the photo, but this is a natural occurrence. Please understand that this is not a defective product.






If you just want to put in dry paper scraps, you don’t need to put a plastic bag inside.


It can be placed in a bedroom or living room.
It also has a nice atmosphere when placed on the tatami mats in a Japanese-style room.
The color fits well in any room.




When it gets dirty, please wash it with water using a scrubbing brush.
Drain the water well and dry it in the shade to restore its gloss.
