There is a person in Ōita Prefecture who has been making cutlery since his parents’ generation.
He has taken over the cutlery business that he did not originally intend to take over.
Now he continues to produce a wide range of cutlery products on a daily basis.
The previous generation used only bamboo as a material. 
But in order to expand the range of shapes, he trained again in the production of wooden cutlery, 
and has been making deep spoons, ladles, plates, etc., 
which are difficult to achieve with the bamboo material.
The owner of the company believes that “cutlery is for daily use,” 
so he puts usability first and foremost. 
The finished pieces are naturally filled with eye-pleasing colors and designs.
These cutlery are given an uncompromising polishing process 
and polyurethane coating performed by a skilled and reliable hand.
