These Tote bags are made of “Igusa” rush rope.
Igusa is also the material used to make “Tatami mats” for Japanese-style room floors. 
Edge materials are used as rope to make baskets.




These are 2-way bags with beige leather handles and a shoulder strap.




Two sizes are available:  “medium” and “large”.


Weaving in the manner of a loom produces a flat weaving before becoming a basket.


















The rims are finished by hand.




The length of the shoulder belt is adjustable.
