These baskets were made by Marian, who lives in southeastern Poland.






The willow has colorful bark on it, and these baskets are made of peeled bark.


A lot of preparation is done before the basket is woven, including sorting the materials and soaking them thoroughly in water.


Each basket is carefully woven, one weave at a time, using a wooden form that matches the shape of the basket.












It has a bright, fresh impression.


When the willow branches are boiled in a special large boiling kettle to soften them, and then peeled of their outer skin, reddish-brown smooth branches like this appear.


The strips are supple, but solid and sturdy.


Occasionally, strips bouncing, cracks or dents on the surface of the strips, which we hope you will understand as a characteristic of the natural material. Please understand that this is not a defective product.




The rim is smooth to the touch.






The handle is movable.






The side, vertical bone lines are beautiful and characteristic.




This is Small size.






It is just the right size for going out.


It holds enough for a wallet, keys, pouch, cell phone, paperback, etc.




This is Large size.






It will be just right for traveling by car or train, such as on a short trip or overnight trip.


Of course, it looks good for shopping.




The Large size will also be useful as a magazine rack, slipper holder, toy basket, and other storage basket.




It can be enjoyed in a variety of scenes.
