They are made of thinly sliced, wide strips, and are woven regularly, alternating lengthwise and crosswise.


The lid can be used for another purpose as a tray.




These pine woods have no knots, and its beautiful grain can be seen.


It is powerful as if the wood is woven as it is, but when you touch it, the surface feels smooth to the touch.








The fibers may show some pilling, but we hope this can be regarded as a characteristic of the natural material.


The handle is made of twisted birch wood fibers. The stiff fibers form a beautiful arch.








It is signed or initialed by the craftsman who made it.


The lid can be placed under the basket when the lid is opened for use.


There may be some scuff-like scratches,


or fluffiness, but they are not defective. Also, there may be dark stains caused by rubbing, etc., which may occur during transportation.
