This is a basket with a lid made from palm leaves.
Three sizes: S, M, and L.






This basket has a gently square shape and is made of soft material.




It is woven using palm leaves. There are two types of palm leaves: natural (cream-colored) and black. The black leaves are dyed with chemical dyes.


This is a distinctive weaving technique in which small triangular patterns are arranged in rows.




The lid can be closed by placing it over the body basket. The height of the body can be adjusted due to the rather tight fit of the lid and body.


It would be good to use the lid and body in different places.




This is the underside of the bottom of the basket. The basket itself is soft and has no reinforcement to support the bottom, so it is not suitable for carrying heavy objects in (please note that this may cause damage).


When holding the basket with items inside, please handle it by supporting the bottom with both hands. 


The core material in the rim may pop out a little by vibration during use, but you can push it back in with your fingers.




This is S size.


For storing accessories, glasses, sunglasses, watches, and other personal items. Also for stationery storage.




Also used as a tea set basket with tea strainer and tea leaves.


This is M size.


As a basket to hold makeup goods. It also looks just right for a sewing box.

The local people have revived the once nearly extinct techniques through the activities of a non-profit organization,

The Kottan series is an original design by Suno & Morrison, a Japanese designer.
