Here you will find baskets with handles on both sides, in two sizes, “M” and “L”.




These baskets were made by Marian, who lives in southeastern Poland.






The willow has colorful bark on it, and these baskets are made of peeled bark.


A lot of preparation is done before the basket is woven, including sorting the materials and soaking them thoroughly in water.


Each basket is carefully woven, one weave at a time, using a wooden form that matches the shape of the basket.












When the willow branches are boiled in a special large boiling kettle to soften them, and then peeled of their outer skin, reddish-brown smooth branches like this appear.


Each strips are flexible, but the basket as a whole is solid and sturdy.




Occasionally, as shown in the photo, you may see some thin skin peeling, 


strips bouncing, cracks or dents on the surface of the strips, which we hope you will understand as a characteristic of the natural material. Please understand that this is not a defective product.












This is size M.


If you were to put laundry in it, it would hold clothes and towels for one or two people.




This is size L.


If it is laundry, it will hold clothes and towels for two to three people.










If you are putting towels, clothes, or other fabric items in the container, 
it would be a good idea to place a piece of cloth on the inside to prevent snagging.




Use it as a laundry basket, blanket, cushion, or luggage storage. 
The basket itself can be enjoyed as an interior decoration.
