These storage baskets are made of Madake bamboo in Chiba, Japan. We introduce two types: Round and Rectangle.
Both are finished with a technique called “Ajiro weaving”. You can enjoy the well-arranged, fine, and beautiful weaving.It is also very smooth to touch.This is “Round” type.The mouth is round and the bottom is square.There are many uses: to keep towels and dish towels together,to store food stock, or as a basket for fruits and root vegetables.This is “Rectangle” type.This is a wide, slim basket. By changing the direction of the basket, you have more options for where to put it.This one also has plenty of capacity for food stock and towels.
The material is carefully crafted using selected Madake bamboo, The inside and outside of the basket are smooth and comfortable to the touch because of the fine weaving.
“Caution” At the time this photo was taken, it is a strong green color, but this green will soon fade and turn to yellow and amber color. Please note that the color may change from the photo when you receive the product.
