Presented here are oval-shaped baskets with handles, in two sizes, “M” and “L”.






These baskets were made by Marian, who lives in southeastern Poland.






The willow has colorful bark on it, and these baskets are made of peeled bark.


A lot of preparation is done before the basket is woven, including sorting the materials and soaking them thoroughly in water.


Each basket is carefully woven, one weave at a time, using a wooden form that matches the shape of the basket.












When the willow branches are boiled in a special large boiling kettle to soften them, and then peeled of their outer skin, reddish-brown smooth branches like this appear.






Occasionally, as shown in the photo, you may see some thin skin peeling, 


strips bouncing, cracks or dents on the surface of the strips, which we hope you will understand as a characteristic of the natural material. Please understand that this is not a defective product.












Both the M and L sizes hold plenty of space.


The sides of the basket are glossy and shiny depending on the angle from which light shines.


This is size M.


Even the medium size is large enough.






For camping, trips to the park, etc. Convenient for carrying water bottles, lunch boxes, and food.


This is size L.


The large size can hold more than a basket of supermarket items.


If you fill it with a lot of food and other items, it may be too heavy for a child or a woman to carry alone.


Carry this one in your car too, for camping or traveling.


Also, it will be a great help when driving to the store to buy groceries for the week.
