These pots are made of aluminum alloy and have a stepped inside (gas flame compatible, not IH).
It can be used in combination with the “Japanese steamer” series shown on a separate page.
We also introduce it as a cooking pot for daily dishes such as simmered dishes and soups.
These specifications are also used in restaurant kitchens for commercial use, and are easy to handle and highly durable.
Made of aluminum alloy, it is strong, heavy and sturdy, a true commercial pot.
With vertical handles on both sides, it is easy to hold, takes up little storage space, and can be stacked in different sizes.
On this page, we introduce three sizes: 27cm (10.63″), 30cm (11.81″), and 33cm (12.99″).
*Aluminum pots are also available in a smaller, lightweight “Stepped pot smaller” series with almost the same specifications. Please choose the stepped pot smaller if you wish to purchase it together with the “Mini Japanese steamer”.
This pot is “hammered” on the inside and outside. The hammered finish means that a metal plate (aluminum for this pot) has been dented with a mallet.
This will increase the strength of the pot and the surface area of the pot with many indentations, allowing it to take in more convective heat from the stove fire and increase heat conductivity.
Heat is transferred quickly and evenly to the food, making it suitable for slow cooking over a long period of time.
