This basket has a gently rounded shape that gives it a charming, pleasant appearance.


It is woven from peeled willow—strips made by removing the outer bark of the branch.


The peeled willow sourced from Lithuania is known for its gentle, pale color.
Under natural light, it reflects a bright yet soft glow, giving the basket a warm and delicate character.




The entire basket is woven in a simple technique, passing each vertical strip under and over in turn.


In the lower part of the basket, two thin willow strips are paired together and woven as a set. Although the weaving method is the same, this creates a subtle difference in the appearance of the weave between the upper and lower sections.


The willow branches are not split; each strip is used at its natural thickness and woven neatly, one by one. Thinner willow is selected for this basket, allowing for a carefully detailed weave.


The handle is made by using a thick willow branch as the core and wrapping thinner willow strips around it. It feels gentle in the hand, and the structure is stable with almost no wobble when carried.


The rim is finished with a braided trim, giving the basket a touch of European character.


The base is woven tightly, using a traditional, durable construction commonly seen in European willow work.


The base is also beautifully shaped into a clean, circular form.
